I am Chris Thomas, a YA fantasy author and high school math teacher at the Churchill School and Center in New York City. I have a Bachelor’s degree with honors in English and Mathematics from Williams College, class of 2021 and I am working towards a Masters in Mathematics Education.
I love creating stories that take you to fantastical places. My first novel, The Edge of Endless Grass, is a YA dystopian fantasy novel about two friends who are cast out from their village into the perilous surrounding grassland. It is currently in the pitching stage and I’m super excited for you to read it. You can find the first chapter here.
When I’m not teaching or writing, I like to relax with a good book, manga, or a fun game. Some of my favorite books are Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Some of my favorite games are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Triangle Strategy.
